TWYLLA SAID: "I’m tired of being the subject of confusion: I’m a nutritionist".

I’m a nutritionist and I’m TIRED of being confused with a cook or a kitchen assistant. Not that these professions aren’t important or dignified, but in the hierarchy, the nutritionist is above these. One time, when I arrived for an interview, the guy that greeted me said that there was an issue in the publication of the position and that he would take my resumé and would contact me later. I told him that I already had an appointment scheduled and the referral letter from the agency. He looked at me and said: Ah yes I’m interviewing for the nutritionist, I thought it was for a cook’s helper.  He told me that he would give me an answer in 15 DAYS. Obviously he already dismissed  me the moment he set his eyes on me, even though my resumé was full of all the necessary requirements and me having all the qualifying experience.
