I’ve been a dentist for 10 years and unfortunately people aren’t able to see a black person working in the elite professions, even if I am in uniform (white suit, like a doctor’s coat) people insist in asking for the dentist even as I am standing in front of them. I’ve heard people say that I don’t have the face of a dentist.
