When I became a teenager I started using henê [Br. straightening product]. My mother didn’t approve, she always told me that my curly hair was pretty.  I did this until last year, when I decided to return to my black curly hair (I’m 51 now) and I love it. Too bad my mother isn’t hear any longer to see it, she would be proud.
